Choosing Shed Siding, Choosing Door & Window Configuration, Door Swing
Choosing ALL Colors (Body, Trim, Doors, Shutters, Windows & Roof)
There are knots, checking, and minor imperfections in the lumber. These Imperfections are Normal in all wood frame construction. Not all Wood is exact dimension or thickness.
Therefore spaces and height differences can exist between framing & floorboards.
Shed Flooring is a sub-floor. Not Intended to be a “Perfect” “Finished Floor” You may paint it or cover it.
The Floor is expected to Wear, Scratch and get Dirty.

Time Line
Order does not go into production line until all colors are chosen and order is signed.
When “Serious Sitework” is required, Order does not go into production until sitework is completed.
Cancellation, Change Order, & Refund Policy
Customer has (14) days to cancel order or change style, size, and color. Changes after (14) days may extend lead time (30) days if custom colors or parts need to be ordered.
If cancelled after (14) days, Customer will receive 80% of their deposit. Refunds can take up to (14) days and will be issued by check only.
Any Changes or Cancellations Must be in Writing
Absolutely NO REFUNDS on Structures once Delivered or Installation has begun. If Customer Cancels Order during Installation, 100% of the Balance is due.

50% Deposit & Balance Due Before Delivery
ADDITIONAL Delivery Fees
Shed Location NOT Marked - Re-delivery Fee $300 or $150 per hour to wait
Shed Unable to be Delivered due to unexpected obstacle in the way such as: Car, Trailer, Dumpster, other contractors on-site- Re-delivery Fee $300
Stone Pad Not Level - Concrete Blocks - $6 each
Shed Moving - $150 if moved at time of Delivery if equipment is packed up or $300 to Come Back within (30) days for in-yard shed move.
Dog Poop Cleanup - $250 fee per day - Otherwise crews will leave if forced to walkthrough or smell dog waste all day.
Shed Location - Permitting & Zoning
Customer is responsible for Shed location and all applicable building and zoning permits required. Please check with Town Building Inspector if unsure.
Scheduling Policy - Site Must Be Ready In Order to Schedule a Date
Shed MUST Be Delivered/Installed within 30 days of Shed/ Shed Kit Received.
Level 3’ Working Perimeter Mandatory
NO Open Trenches & NO Piles of Stone or Dirt
DO NOT Schedule other Trades or Deliveries during Shed Delivery/Installation
Remove Cars From Driveway Prior to 8am on Delivery or Installation Day
All New Concrete Must be cured for at least 14 days and be Sealed.
Rescheduling Policy - Rain or Snow, Too Hot or Too Cold, Too Muddy
Chapin Sheds REQUIRES DRY & SOLID GROUND to Deliver / Build.
It is Customers responsibility to call office to advise us if Delivery Path is too Wet, Soft, Fog or Non Deliverable.
Chapin Sheds Incorporated reserves the right to: Cancel Deliveries or Installations due Weather and Equipment Failures. This is NON Negotiable and company policy to follow State Road and OSHA Laws. Your Delivery or Installation will be rescheduled into the next available time slot ASAP.
Chapin Sheds Incorporated is not responsible for customer loss of work if taking day off from work to be home shed delivery.
During Delivery / Installation
It is ok to watch & ask questions. However we require the customers to keep a 50’ distance from the workers at all times.
